           This is me?

          From snow-capped mountains and alpine ridgelines, Jacob stepped foot into the world of filmmaking. What used to be a hobby of filming skiing escapades with friends has now become both a passion and career for Jacob. Beginning in the world of action sports, he launched his career as a cinematographer by creating ski films for Atomic Skiing, Jiberish, and ESPN’s World of X Games, among others. The harsh world of winter gave him a unique skill set, battling -40° temps and hauling 80 pounds of camera gear up slopes and summits. He has since been hired as a professional editor for Amazon, The Olympic Channel, and X Games. But, whether he’s on a blustery ski slope in the mountains of Japan or exploring the desert landscapes of Iran, Jacob lives to be behind the lens. Through his career as a director of photography, he has found a deep love and passion for sharing the stories of people across the globe. When you can’t find him lugging a camera through the backcountry on skis, you’ll catch him traveling the world, producing documentary content for brands such as The Olympic Channel, Bridgestone Tires, Snapchat, and NBC.  Jacob does not love writing bios…especially about himself. But, what he lacks in rhetoric he makes up for in his passion and love for the art of storytelling.
